I was raised and attended schools in Gilford, New Hampshire.

I grew up in a family business where boating was the main focus. I worked at Thurston’s Marina as a summer helper, boat cleaner, snowmobile and PWC assembler/rigger and all around yard helper. I progressed through schooling and on the job training to become a lead technician at Thurston’s.

I hold multiple certifications and in 2010 was named a Master Technician for Evinrude Motors. My excellent rapport with customers and my depth of technical knowledge made me the ideal candidate for service writer, all the while maintaining my work and certifications as a technician. Later I was named Assistant Service Manager.

Prior to starting Nicholas Thurston Marine (NTM), I had worked my way up from working on weekends and summer months as a kid to a factory trained and a certified Technician on 2-stroke Evinrude E-Tec Outboards, Volvo Penta Inboards and Outdrives.

I fully understand the importance of good customer satisfaction. My goal is to earn your trust by keeping you on the water, enjoying your boat.
